is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\">\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Our team was responsible for the <strong>renovation and restoration of the Tournesol dome at the Birkelt campsite in Larochette<\/strong>, a national monument protected by Luxembourg&#8217;s Environmental Heritage.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The goal was to <strong>statically and structurally adapt the building<\/strong> to current needs and regulations.<strong> <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A complex process that involved several steps:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>The demolition of the existing fiberglass dome,  <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The development of the executive project for reconstruction,  <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The making of the various fiberglass molds to replace the original structure,  <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>production of the dome elements using the latest technology in the industry,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>the creation of a novel sandwich structure with specific reinforcements (&#8220;core&#8221;) and a very extensive use of fire retardant resins.  <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The project, <strong>commissioned by Human Company<\/strong>, resulted from collaboration with companies specializing in various fields.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">See pictures of the of thick reinforced fiberglass and fireproof components.<\/strong> Our team was able to <strong>successfully overcome this technical challenge<\/strong>, in part by <strong>cooperating with the most qualified companies <\/strong>in the field of transparent methacrylate openings, sealing gaskets, and in the implementation of advanced modeling.  <\/div>\n<\/div>\n
