There are attractions that get people talking even before they try them. Because of their spectacular appearance, their unusual movement, the experience they promise. Wave Ride is one of these: recognisable, engaging and designed to leave its mark.
An attraction that gives you the sensation of flying on a giant wave, suspended between sky and water. Aboard a double rubber dinghy, users launch themselves onto a wide, sloping track. The water pushes them towards the top of the sail in a smooth, powerful ascent that culminates in a moment of suspension, almost touching the sky. Then, using gravity, the dinghy reverses direction and accelerates towards the final stretch, until it reaches the braking pool.
Tailor-made design and full customisation
Thanks to the experience of our creative team, every Wave Ride is a unique project. Each attraction is custom-designed to blend seamlessly with the architectural context and visual identity of the host park. Textures, graphics and finishes are carefully studied to enhance the style of the structure and transform the slide into a coherent and recognisable scenic element.
Customisation can also involve the structural configuration of the attraction, adapting it to the specific needs of the customer or the layout of the facility. For the Terme Tuhelj in Croatia, for example, we designed a brand new version of the Wave Ride: the slide is designed for use alone or in pairs, thanks to specially designed rubber rafts.
In combination with other attractions
In addition to being visually stunning, Wave Ride is a strategic choice for those who want to expand and diversify their park’s offering. It can be seamlessly and coherently integrated with other attractions, creating dynamic experiences designed for adrenaline-seeking visitors.
For the Antiche Terme di Giunone, for example, we designed a water area consisting of three attractions: Wave Ride, Water Roller Coaster and Spin Bowl. Everything was themed uniformly, with coordinated colours and style, to create an immersive and always surprising route.
